1. How many new collections do you launch every year?
We create several product collections a year and will each collection exists out of one unique print. We take great care in sourcing our fabrics and prints. Our wax fabric, or Ankara, Kampala or Hollandaise (East African name) is sourced from Balogun market in Lagos, Nigeria. In the small back alleys of this market you can find almost anything you need. We love finding and selecting the most beautiful prints for you. Each print is printed only once. This is exactly what makes them so unique and is why they are only available for a limited amount of time. Once they are sold out, they are truly sold out. 2. A product is out of stock, will it be available again?
Our products made from wax prints are only printed only once. This makes them truly unique and therefor only available for a limited amount of time. Once a product made from wax fabric is sold out, it will not be available again.
3. How do I take care of my product?
Cool machine wash and hang to dry. All fabric has been washed before sewing to avoid any colour bleed and shrinkage. All our products are handmade in Lagos, Nigeria and carefully sewn with love and eye for detail.
4. Why is the print not placed exactly like in the picture on the webshop?
All our products are handmade. Due to the way our products and prints are made, the placement of the print may vary making each product unique.
5. How do I make an order?
You can make an order through our webshop or sent us an e-mail. At our webshop you will be able to purchase any of our products easily and we ensure the security of payment. Or you can send us a mail at info@factandmatter.com indicating the reference of the product, the quantity you would like to buy and your shipping and billing details if you want an invoice. We will confirm your order by email, detailing the product costs as well as the shipping costs. To validate your order, we will ask you to proceed with the payment by bank transfer, credit card or Paypal.
6. How will I know that my order has been received?
When finalizing the order, a message will appear on your screen indicating that your order has been sent correctly to Fact and Matter. You will soon receive an email confirmation for your purchase at the address indicated.
7. What can I do if I don’t receive the order confirmation email?
If you don’t receive our confirmation order email, you can write us at info@factandmatter.com giving us your name and details of purchase and we will advise you if your order has been received or not.
8. Is it possible to make changes or cancellation after my order has been confirmed?
All changes and cancellations are possible without any additional cost until payment confirmation. Once the payment has been done and you have received our email confirmation, please contact us at info@factandmatter.com to know if your order has been sent. If not, we can still cancel or modify your order; if your order has been shipped, please refer to the “shipping, returns and refund” section.
9. What are the different payment methods?
We have three different payment possibilities, depending on how you choose to make your order:
– Credit card payment: we accept Visa and Mastercard.
– Paypal.
– Bank transfer through Ideal.
